Abingdon Car-nival 2009 (Oxford - 14/06/2009) A wonderfull event showcasing many aspects of motorsport, was unfortunately marred by an accident in which 2 Marshals and a member of the media were injured. After excellent support from medical teams the injured parties were OK and the event continued. With Delroy now comfortable behind the wheel it was time to push the car to it's limits. Unfortunately, Delroy found those limits and had to complete most of the stages with a severly slipping clutch. However, undettered he managed to bring the car in for a finish at 61st overall.
Mini Tempest 2009 (Longcross - 5/04/2009) First time out for our new driver, Delroy Marks and the little firecracker Peugeot 106 Rallye. His first concern was to get through scrutineering, which was a breeze. Then the aim to finish was, thankfully, acheived. With a couple of navigation errors causing bogey times, it was still a good run and a well climbed learning curve for the new driver. Overall finish 29th out of 60 starting entries.
